Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold’s Tenke Fungurume Mining Health Clinic

Tenke Fungurume Mining, a Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold company, established a clinic in Nseke in the Democratic Republic of Congo for employees, contractors and community members.

Tenke Fungurume Mining funds a power plant in Nseke, which is approximately 200 kilometers away from the mine operations located near Lubumbashi.

The clinic serves approximately 60 patients a month and is unique due to its remote location far from an urban center.
