Corporate Social Responsibility

With a long history of fulfilling our role as a sound corporate citizen everywhere we work, AECOM is driven by our purpose — to create, enhance and sustain the world’s built, natural and social environments — both in our work and how we operate as a company. For us, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is the collective energy and effort of our company and employees to benefit society and the environment through the contribution of labor, financial support and facilities as well as social and community networks.

The company’s CSR efforts focus on community development, education and training, alleviating poverty and disaster recovery efforts, health and well-being, and the natural environment. And we express these focus areas through our ethics and diversity and inclusion programs, increased transparency regarding how we operate, promotion of employee engagement, integration of sustainability into our services, and thought leadership concerning the challenges of a growing population and urbanization.
