CITGO Lemont Refinery Holds Supply Drive Benefitting Local Domestic Violence Shelters
TeamCITGO volunteers at the CITGO Lemont Refinery helped their community by holding a supply drive benefiting three local domestic violence shelters and the at-risk women and children they serve. Based on specific requests from the organizations, CITGO employees and contractors at the refinery, donated personal care products, clothing and household items for the Guardian Angel Community Services, Lamb’s Fold Women’s Center and Crisis Center for South Suburbia.

CITGO Lemont Refinery Bowls a Strike for Muscular Dystrophy Association
Every year, the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) provides rehabilitation assistance to thousands of children and adults across the country. To bolster these efforts and help local families fighting muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle-debilitating diseases, the CITGO Lemont Refinery, which celebrates its 90th anniversary this year, recently held its sixth bowl-a-thon benefitting the MDA. Held this year at Brunswick Zone XL in Romeoville, this annual event not only raises awareness for muscular dystrophy advocacy and research, but also supports services for Illinois families.

CITGO Fuels Holiday Spirit Among Underserved Community at MorningStar Mission
CITGO Petroleum Corporation fueled good this holiday season by bringing together employees from its Arlington Heights and Lemont Terminals, as well as its Lemont Refinery, on Christmas Day to volunteer and make a difference with local homeless shelter and support organization MorningStar Mission.

TeamCITGO Rides for a Cure to MS in the 34th Annual Bike MS: Tour de Farms
For the 18th consecutive year, employees from the CITGO Lemont Refinery volunteered with TeamCITGO to ride 15 to 200 miles across the Northern Illinois countryside in the Bike MS: Tour de Farms in DeKalb, Ill., hosted by the Greater Chicagoland Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The annual charity bike ride is the largest of its kind in Illinois, bringing together riders of all skill levels in the fight against multiple sclerosis (MS).

TeamCITGO Assists Shady Oaks Camp in its Annual Beautification Day for the 15th Consecutive Year
Members of TeamCITGO, the employee volunteer team at the CITGO Lemont Refinery, helped Shady Oaks Camp in Homer Glen, Ill., prepare its grounds this summer for more than 60 special needs campers for the 2015 summer session. Shady Oaks Camp holds its beautification day annually to refurbish its 30-acre facility for both children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities. This year, several volunteers from the Lemont Refinery participated in this day of service.
