CITGO Recognizes Safety Excellence and Leadership at Annual Contractor Safety Association Summit
The CITGO Contractor Safety Association (CSA) held its 5th annual Contractor Safety Summit at CITGO Park this past November. During the summit, more than 350 contractor foremen and supervisors took part in three separate interactive workshops. The workshops included Leadership Skills; Communication and Perception; as well as Power and Danger of Water and Vacuum.

CITGO Lake Charles Employees Provide for Christmas to Local Families
CITGO Lake Charles Refinery employees offered Christmas donations and gifts to local families this holiday season through local charities and CITGO Partner in Education E.K. Key Elementary School. Employees raised $6,632 to purchase Christmas presents and household necessities for the families.

CITGO Employees Raise 15 Percent of the United Way SWLA $4 Million Regional Goal
CITGO Lake Charles Refinery employees recently raised 15 percent of the United Way SWLA regional goal of $4 million for the organization to provide essential programs and services to the Southwest Louisiana community. The funds were raised by CITGO employees during the refinery’s annual CITGO United Way campaign. The 2016 Give Today Change Tomorrow campaign took place on-site during September and October and raised a grand total of $621,266.32.
