CITGO Fueling Good Road Trip Team to Visit Mid-State Petroleum and Pop Shoppe CITGO for "Fueling Good Customer Appreciation Day" to Benefit Emily's Kids Foundation

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 26, 2013 / 3BL Media/ PRNewswire/ -- CITGO Petroleum Corporation and local CITGO Marketer Mid-State Petroleum are hosting a "Fueling Good Customer Appreciation" event on Aug. 27 that will feature Emily's Kids Foundation, a local non-profit organization that supports families with children battling cancer. From 3 to 5 p.m., customers can receive free fountain drinks and coffee at the Pop Shoppe CITGO, located at 4640 Old Pineville Road, and Emily's Kids Foundation will give away t-shirts to raise awareness of pediatric cancer.

Local CITGO Marketer and Emily's Kids Foundation Board Member Tony Perez and Emily's Kids Foundation Founder Craig Field will also visit Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte to present families with children in the hospital $10 CITGO Gift Cards provided by the Foundation. CITGO Fueling Good Ambassadors Adam and Diego will also give stuffed animals to children receiving treatment.
