As a member of the Oklahoma community, TransCanada extends its condolences to the family and friends of those who lost their lives in the powerful storms that struck the Oklahoma City area on May 20.

We are proud to help support the relief efforts in a small way through a $25,000 donation to the American Red Cross, the nation’s premier emergency response organization, in support of emergency response and preparedness in the Central Oklahoma region.

Last Saturday, the company also donated food and TransCanada staff volunteered their time to help feed more than 500 volunteers cleaning up debris from twisters that hit Lincoln County.
