BCE Inc. (Bell Canada) released its 2016 Corporate Responsibility Report.
 
The report addresses key initiatives that are most relevant to the company’s stakeholders throughout its 5 main categories – Team members, Customers, Community, Environment, and Economy & Society. 
 
Some highlights from 2016:

• 31% of Board members are women
• Technicians arrived right on time for 97% of appointments
• Bell Let’s Talk commitment at $86.5 million
• Prevented the release of nearly 60 kilotonnes of CO₂ equivalent since 2008
• Every $1 billion that Bell invests in deploying new fibre networks supports up to 19,000 jobs in the Canadian economy as a whole 

The report also demonstrates that BCE wins many social and environmental awards every year and is included in several leading global sustainability indices including the FTSE4Good Global Index and the Jantzi Social Index.
