Arrow Electronics believes the world shouldn’t have to wait for the next DaVinci to appear. Rather, our view is that innovation is a skill set that can be taught. Our education programming reflects our commitment to supporting the next generation of innovators by giving elementary school youngsters tangible experiences that build confidence through creative expression.

A few examples of ways in which Arrow delivers on this commitment include:

  • Very Young Composers Program – Working with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Arrow transforms elementary school students into confident young composers by teaching them to draw on innovation to create original musical scores.

  • Cardboard Engineering Challenge – Arrow’s support for this annual event encourages students to use imagination, discarded cardboard and other free materials to transform their ideas into something practical, picking up engineering lessons along the way.

  • Tuleeni Orphanage, Tanzania – The Arrow DigiTruck delivers internet access, laptops, tablets and other refurbished devices to children at this remote African orphanage, opening them up to educational opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.

By providing such opportunities, Arrow is helping today’s children gain the confidence to become the innovators of tomorrow.
