Recently, Katherine Pickus, Divisional Vice President of Global Citizenship and Policy at Abbott, joined Stephen Jordan, executive director of U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC) and CSR thoughtleader Aman Singh for a discussion on strategies for companies interested in achieving their CSR goals and becoming CSR leaders.

The webcast, part of BCLC's Conversations with Stephen series, was titled, "How to Become a CSR 2.0 Leader." Key discussion points included society's evolving expectations for companies, and how both companies and individual employees can proactively drive progress in CSR. Pickus shared insights on how Abbott is creating forward-looking, sustainable and scalable solutions to critical societal issues, both through its core business and in partnership with others.

The BCLC series is designed to provide helpful, solution oriented discussions on CSR, and has focused on issues and developments in the CSR field including the state of the CSR profession and the effect of communities on CSR.
