ARAMARK Helps Fight Obesity in Chilean Village

In ARAMARK Chile, one of the primary business priorities is to develop strong, collaborative links to the communities where we do business, creating tools that address social issues unique to a particular community.
  One of the newest tools was recently launched in the tiny mining village of Baquedano, home to 678 people, within the community of Sierra Gorda, where ARAMARK provides services for the Los Bayas copper mine camps.  More than 35 percent of the people of Baquedano, both children and adults, are overweight or obese.
