AEG to Host Earth Day Collection Drive in Downtown Los Angeles
In celebration of Earth Day, AEG’s STAPLES Center, Microsoft Theater, L.A. LIVE and the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) will host an Earth Day Collection Drive at the LACC’s Gilbert Lindsey Plaza on Friday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event, hosted in conjunction with AEG 1EARTH, whose mission is to reduce AEG’s environmental impact and drive business value through sustainability, will consist of e-waste collection and a sustainable-focused fair that includes interactive activities, third party vendors, short presentations on sustainable living, and raffle prizes.
Open to the public and all AEG employees, acceptable donation items include: electronics, accessories, books, shoes, clothes, toys, cookware, utensils, holiday décor, sporting goods and office supplies. Large items such as washing machines, dryers, refrigerators and medical equipment will not be accepted.
