We recently published Adobe’s Corporate Responsibility Five-Year Data Summary and a new interactive data visualization that highlights the change in some of our key Corporate Responsibility (CR) metrics over the past five years. Our CR programs continue to grow as we expand and define new areas where we can have a positive impact. We’re pleased to share our progress.

At Adobe, we’re committed to using our workforce, our technology and our financial resources to strengthen our local communities and support a sustainable future. When developing this five-year update, we decided to present it in an artistic and engaging way that’s representative of the creativity our products and culture.

Our new CR report not only gives a clear view into our data, but each layer shows how we have built on our successes to grow our CR program over the past five years. Clicking through the report, you’ll see highlights of our program and milestone achievements, including:

  • Investing more than $275 million in community cash and product donations, 2008 through 2012
  • Increasing the number of AYV Youth 131% from 2008 to 2012; at the close of 2012, more than 26,000 youth were involved globally
  • LEED certifying 58% of our  global real estate portfolio square footage
  • Achieving  100% waste diversion at our San Jose headquarters in 2012

We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished but we know we have more work to do. Our goals include increasing participation in our employee involvement programs by 20% in 2013; reducing the amount of packaging per product unit by 80% in 2014; and achieving our goal of global carbon neutrality by 2015, to name a few.

Creating change is no simple task. We thank our employees, customers, partners, and communities for being part of this journey and will continue working together to create a more sustainable future.
